Work Order / Job Management |
ServicePlus is built on a work order-centric architecture, with Logbook at the core - an approach that provides exceptional detail, process uniformity, consistency and automation across the whole ServicePlus system. This design strategy also enables a high level of cross-process and inter-component communication, ensuring that steps and activities do not slip through the cracks, and that information related to most activities in the service process is accessible from a single point in ServicePlus. Other ServicePlus components feed Logbook and are, in turn, updated by activities and transactions originating from Logbook's work order / job.
Logbook allows for an unlimited number of serial numbers (or units) on a work order. A one-to-many work order-to-job relationship gives each job its own unique cycle and attracts parts, labor, trip, shipping, miscellaneous charges and billing events. Field service organizations use the Dispatch call capability as an integrated front-end to Logbook, feeding the work order's process and billing engine.
