General ServicePlus System Features

System-Wide
  • Queries are available as a front-end to all components in ServicePlus. User queries can be archived and stored in both system-wide and user-specific desktops.
  • Most queries and list boxes in query windows support wild card searches on key fields.
  • All components are fully integrated, ensuring sharing of information between departments and functions.
  • All components are fed by core tables including equipment, company, etc, ensuring that all information is readily available and reducing duplication of systems.
  • ServicePlus Enterprise: multi-branch, multi-division, multi-department, multi-profit center.
  • All components have an integrated, user-definable forms generator.
  • Event logs for events and documents - record event, user ID, date and time for material changes.
  • Notepads for all key documents record public and private notes by user ID, date and time. Private notes can be print-suppressed.
  • Notices with priority-driven acknowledgment and behavior settings can be system or user defined to transmit vital information to system users.
  • Unlimited number of warehouse locations, multi-warehouse processing.
  • User and system defined work order, job, call and assignment states; system defined contract, invoice and item states.

Security and User Profiles
ServicePlus offers a group / function-based security facility which allows access and restriction definition at the module and activity levels. The user profile facility provides for a definition of the ServicePlus user's desktop in terms of component and tab visibility, thus allowing tailored, simplified user interfaces.

Crystal Reports
This popular report writer has earned a reputation as easy to use, flexible and reliable. The Crystal Reports engine is used within ServicePlus to generate standard reports, and the complete version of Crystal can be purchased (from a local reseller) by those users wanting custom reporting capabilities. Capabilities include: full Windows printer and font support, built-in graphics, boxes, line drawing and color, multi-pass reporting for complex calculations, unlimited sorting and grouping, and over 100 built-in functions and query operators. Reports are quickly and easily exported to a wide variety of spreadsheet, graphics, text and database applications.

Windows 2000 / NT Standards
In the design of ServicePlus, ServicePlus Corporation capitalized on existing Microsoft libraries and standards to deliver a product that is compatible with other 32 bit-Microsoft products and inherits NT's open systems architecture. ServicePlus is one of a handful of commercial NT applications that has been awarded the "Designed For Microsoft Windows 2000 / Windows NT" certification.

Database Support
ServicePlus is supported on the Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle platforms, and is fully compliant with Microsoft Corporation's ODBC standards.
